Smoked Chicken is made from a whole double chicken breast (without mincing or forming) which is cured, cooked and smoked to our own recipe. It is one of our signature products, awarded a Gold medal in the 2022 Charcuterie Excellence Awards.

Kaczanowski smoked chicken is proudly made from 100% Australian chicken. We use a whole double breast fillet (approximately 800g) so there is no need for mincing, forming or extraneous processing. 

The chicken breasts are cured, then left to rest in our simple but delightfully tasty mix of flavours with minimal preservatives. They are cooked, then the traditional Kaczanowski smoke house ensures a golden colour with a mouth watering smokey flavour. Even after the smoking process, our prize winning smoked chicken breast is produced moist, succulent and ready to eat. 

Great for wraps and rolls, smoked chicken breast is also an excellent accompaniment for rice, pasta dishes and pizza.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS FROM FROZEN:

Fan Forced Oven: Preheat oven to 180-200 deg C. From frozen, remove lid & cover with foil & cook approx 50 min using a fan forced oven or until core temp reaches 70 deg C. Remove cover last 10 min of cooking to brown on top. Let stand with cover on for 5 min before serving

Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 180-200 deg C. From frozen, remove lid & cover with foil & cook approx 120 min using a conventional oven or until core temp reaches 70 deg C. Remove cover last 10 min of cooking to brown on top. Let stand with cover on for 5 min before serving

Ready to use flavoured Sauce for Pizza Bases

Trofie is a short, thin twisted pasta shape, about an inch in length. This shape is thick in the middle and has pointed ends. The shape originated in Liguria, Italy. This shape is recommended to be used with pesto sauce, as this specific sauce can easily get into the pasta's crevices.

Gatos Maltese style Raviul is a delicious hand formed Ravioli type frozen pasta containing a tasty filling of premium quality ricotta cheese.

To cook, simply boil salted water in a large pot. Place a portion of the ravioli in the water. They will rise when they are ready to cook. Enjoy with any sauce.

Store empty shells in an air tight, sealable container. Once filled, best stored in refrigerator. All fillings must be kept refrigerated.

Shelf Life

Empty shells - one month in sealed container. Can be eaten for up to 5 days once filled.
All fillings - up to 7 days, refrigerated.

Due to the opening of Dolce Cannoli & Co’s new store in Marsden Park, deliveries to our Penrith area will now be limited to Saturdays. As a result, all Friday orders and deliveries will need to be collected on Saturday. This won't affect our Saturday deliveries.
